DEVELOPMENT- LIFE SKILLS

While offering holistic care and ensuring your safety we wish to build capacity and help you develop into individuals capable of leading an autonomous existence. Through the activities covered under our life skills development service, we wish to give you opportunities to grow into confident, empowered, and independent individuals.

To help develop life skills, our support workers will:

  • Organize personal development sessions targeting specific skills like problem- solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Help you develop basic financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Ensure intake of a proper diet.
  • Encourage you to undertake small everyday household tasks on your own while ensuring your safety.
  • Make you keep track of your health and medications.
  • Teach you how to use assistive technologies.
